Although our Brisbane earthmoving company is handy to the bayside suburbs, we are often called in to do earthmoving and excavation for clients located closer to the city.
With over 25 years in business, we have built a solid reputation for being up to the challenge in conditions where other earthmoving and excavation companies may fear to go – for example, regulated traffic areas, steep terrain, low head height, narrow lots, and tight streets.
If you are familiar with Brisbane you would know that this describes many of the suburbs within a few kilometres of the CBD – from Red Hill, Paddington, Bardon, and Kelvin Grove north of the river, to Morningside, Tarragindi, West End, Carina and Norman Park in the south!
Here are a couple of the earthmoving and excavation projects we have tackled in Brisbane inner city areas, over the last few months.
Drilling Piers at Red Hill
This original Queenslander is being renovated, so we were called in to drill the piers for a new carport, which will help the owners make the most of the limited land available. Steep and tricky terrain like this is no problem for All Hours Earthmoving!
Excavation at Paddington
The challenges in this job in Paddington included low head height beneath the deck, a narrow and steep street, and regulated traffic. Our solution was to utilise the bobcat ramps and load the truck that way.
Site Cut and Fill at Paddington
The old dwelling had been demolished, but the block still needed to be cut and filled in preparation for the new construction.
Levelling a block is not a difficult thing to do, if you have the right earthmoving equipment and a licensed operator.
However if it is a narrow lot, like this one in Paddington where the streets are tight, it takes experience and careful planning.
In the end seven loads were taken away, and the job was completed without a hitch.
