The home owners removed any materials they wanted to salvage, and then the rest was up to us.
In the spirit of sustainability – and as a bonus, it kept dumping costs down – it was decided that throughout the demolition we would carefully separate the various types of materials ready for recycling: eg brick and concrete, metal, and timber.
Over the course of two days we demolished the house, removed all the debris and recyclables, and then levelled the block ready for the builder to come in and start work on the new house.
